Waiheke Horse Tours Ltd
Clients bookings are accepted on the understanding that they appreciate the possible risks inherent in horse riding specifically on and around horses and they undertake our tours at their own risk. Clients are required to wear a safety approved helmet provided by us and come with closed shoes and long trousers and jacket to suit the weather. It can be windy on top of the ridge at anytime.
Waiheke Horse Tours places extreme importance on the safety of its clients. We will spend time with the client in a round pen to ensure the client understands and can apply the techniques to start, stop, turn, mount, dismount, control at walk and possibly able to trot while changing transitions. The operator accepts that not everybody achieves walking & trotting changes in 30 mins but by practising in the safety of a round pen the client knows how to come back to a walk
Waiheke Horse Tours are at a walk unless the guide is satisfied of the client’s ability and experience to go faster in a safe area.
However it is important that clients realise that they are responsible for making themselves aware of the risks involved and are responsible for making their own decisions accordingly. Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of the operator’s employees, tour leaders and agents whilst on the tour. If in the opinion of such a person the health or conduct of a client at any time before or after departure appears likely to endanger the safe, comfortable or happy progress of the tour, the client may be excluded from all or part of the tour.
Waiheke Horse Tours reserves the right to alter any itinerary at any time.
The client acknowledges and accepts that although Waiheke Horse Tours does hold various insurances, this booking condition states that the client must assume he/she is not covered by any insurance policy Waiheke Horse Tours Ltd may hold including all liability insurance for death, injury, damage or loss of any kind.
Waiheke Horse Tours advises clients to obtain adequate medical/travel insurance & to disclose any medical conditions that may affect the ability for horse riding.
The client when signing the registration form (which incorporates these terms) on the day of departure confirms that he/she is fully aware of and accepts these conditions. Parent or legal guardian must sign for anyone under 18 years of age.
