What to Wear, Weights, Welfare
Tours are by appointment only. Please contact us in advance to secure your booking.
Younger children are advised to do our beginner’s beach ride unless they are capable riders.
Group sizes are limited to 3 or 4 riders if you have a larger number we can do 2 short rides (take turns)
During summer it is hot and humid and we don’t expect our horses to work in the heat all day every day, we limit the number of tours we do and the horses get well-deserved breaks. We prefer to book our rides in the morning whenever possible before it gets too hot but we also have to work around the tides.

What to Wear
Jeans or long pants with some stretch. Yoga pants can be slippery, shorts can cause rubs and marks from the saddle! Trainers are ok, boots, ankle (or long) with a 1-inch heel are the best. We have a few pairs on hand. Hiking boots are a bit chunky for riding. Sometimes the conditions are good for going in the water so don’t wear anything that you don’t want to get salt water on. We provide helmets and also take sensational photos and videos to help you remember the experience for years to come also you don’t have to worry about carrying your phone and dropping it.
Factor in extra time for fitting helmets, footwear, and general preparation.
