Booking Conditions

We accept payments on the day of your booking. Credit card, bank transfer, and cash.
Online Bookings can be made up to 24 hours before the day. Prices are NZD. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included

Cancellations

We will accept client cancellations 24 hours prior to the booking with no fees incurred to the client, cancellations made once you have arrived will not be refunded.

Changes or Cancellations by Us
If we are forced to cancel due to weather conditions or as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, we offer a full refund of all monies paid. If it is necessary to make significant changes or cancel before departure, we will advise you as soon as possible. We regret we cannot pay any costs or expenses or losses you may incur as a result of any change or cancellation.

Waiheke Island Horse Tours

Responsibilities
Client’s bookings are accepted on the understanding that they appreciate the possible risks inherent in horse riding specifically on and around horses and they undertake our tours at their own risk.  Clients are required to wear a safety-approved helmet provided by us and come with closed shoes and long trousers and a jacket to suit the weather.
Waiheke Horse Tours places extreme importance on the safety of its clients. We will spend time with the client in a round pen to ensure the client understands and can apply the techniques to start, stop, turn, mount, dismount, control at walk.  

Waiheke Horse Tours are at a walk unless the guide is satisfied with the client’s ability and experience to go faster in a safe area.
It is important that clients realise that they are responsible for making themselves aware of the risks involved and are responsible for making their own decisions accordingly. Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of the operator’s employees, tour leaders, and agents whilst on the tour. If in the opinion of such a person the health or conduct of a client at any time before or after departure appears likely to endanger the safe, comfortable or happy progress of the tour, the client may be excluded from all or part of the tour.

Waiheke Horse Tours reserves the right to alter any itinerary or route at any time especially if the safety of riders or welfare of horses is at risk. It is a public beach if there are hazards or activities beyond WHTs control that could be risky for the tour we will amend the route.
The client acknowledges and accepts that although Waiheke Horse Tours does hold various insurances, this booking condition states that the client must assume he/she is not covered by any insurance policy Waiheke Horse Tours may hold including all liability insurance for death, injury, damage, or loss of any kind.

Waiheke Horse Tours advises clients to obtain adequate medical/travel insurance & to disclose any medical conditions that may affect their ability to horse riding.

Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase date.
The client when signing the registration form (which incorporates these terms) on the day of departure confirms that he/she is fully aware of and accepts these conditions. Parent or legal guardian must sign for anyone under 18 years of age. If you do not wish us to share any of the photos we take on your tour on our website or social accounts please inform us.
